York Minster

York Minster

The York Minster is the largest Gothic cathedral in Northern Europe. This is a major attractions point in this city. The construction of the Minster began in 1220, with the building going for another 250 years. Imposing as all other cathedrals from this type, it has its originality, and does not resemble its famous counterpart in London (Westminster). Check out the stained glass during the day, but be sure to return at night. I found this cheap accommodation from an online reservation hotels site, which gives me a list of hotels in York with all the facilities at discount offer.

  1. It's good that you book cheap hotel online. Hotel online booking really helps travellers to save more money and travel comfortably.

By the way York Minister looks interesting in this photo. I bet it is more beautiful inside basing from its Gothic architecture.
