York MinsterThe York Minster is the largest Gothic cathedral in Northern Europe. This is a major attractions point in this city. The construction of the Minster began in 1220, with the building going for another 250 years. Imposing as all other cathedrals from this type, it has its originality, and does not resemble its famous counterpart in London (Westminster). Check out the stained glass during the day, but be sure to return at night.
